About Dairy Development Internship Jobs
The Livestock and Dairy Development Department Punjab has started a new Internship Program 2025 under the guidance of Chief Minister Punjab, Maryam Nawaz Sharif. This program is made to help fresh graduates and diploma holders gain real work experience in the livestock and dairy field. It will give young people a chance to learn, earn, and prepare for their future careers.
There are a total of 1,000 internship seats available across Punjab. Out of these, 485 seats will be offered in 2025–26, and the remaining 515 seats in 2026–27. This way, students and diploma holders from different districts of Punjab will get an equal chance to apply.
The program has two parts. The first part is for Veterinarians (Vets) who have a DVM degree from an HEC-recognized university. The second part is for Para-Vets, who have completed a two-year diploma or LAD certificate. Both groups will get a monthly stipend. Vets will receive Rs. 60,000, while Para-Vets will receive Rs. 40,000 during the internship.
Internship Details
This program is divided into two categories.
For Vets (Veterinarians)
- Monthly stipend: Rs. 60,000
- Eligibility: Fresh graduates with DVM (HEC recognized)
- Registration with PVMC required
- Age limit: Up to 25 years
For Para-Vets (Diploma Holders)
- Monthly stipend: Rs. 40,000
